Ben Roethlisberger Set For Four – Six Game Ban For Conduct Violation

April 21, 2010

(ChattahBox) – What is the punishment for being accused of rape in the NFL? For Ben Roethlisberger it will be a suspension of four to six games, and a possible trade from the Steelers.

The quarterback was accused earlier this year of raping a 20-year-old in the bathroom of a nightclub, a case that was fraught with criticism after a police officer was seen posing for pictures during the investigation.

It was the second accusation of rape for the Steeler’s player, but charges were dropped early this week.

But that doesn’t mean he will get off without penalties.

The NFL has announced they will be banning him from four to sex games, based on behavior, for breaking the conduct policy of the league.

In the meantime, there was news that the Steeler’s have been looking into a possible trade for a top 10 player, an action that speaks even louder than the ban.
