‘Fear the Deer’ Bucks’ Chant Comes to Life in Sports Bar (Video)

(ChattahBox)— Two young bucks in Milwaukee apparently heard the shouts of Bucks’ fans chanting “fear the deer,” while watching a playoff game in a sports bar on Sunday. Soon after fans sat down to watch the game and wash down a plate of sliders with a few beers, two white-tailed deer crashed threw the glass door of the Stout Ale House in Menomonie.
After the dazed bucks crashed through the front door, a few hardy fans carried the animals out of the restaurant and it was back to business as usual, according to a report by Chippewa Herald:
“Two patrons and a Stout Ale House employee were able to wrestle one of the deer to the ground shortly after it entered the building, while the buck made a dash for the eatery’s skyboxes at the south end of the dining room. Stout Ale House General Manager Jay Ouellette and employee Dan Kniess – who is also a University of Wisconsin-Stout student – were able to corner that buck and escort it out of the building.”
Unfortunately, the arrival of two live bucks did not serve as a lucky charm for the Milwaukee Bucks. The team lost to the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA playoffs 95-74. “Fear the deer” will have to wait for another day.
