Rhapsody MP3 Gives Away Music To Help Launch Store

RealNetworks' Rhapsody gave away a free music album to the first 100,000 people to sign up for their Rhapsody MP3 store....Washington (ChattahBox) – RealNetworks’ Rhapsody gave away a free music album to the first 100,000 people to sign up for their Rhapsody MP3 store.

The new store from Rhapsody features all new DRM-free MP3 files which can be played on an Apple iPod, or any other device.

All of the songs on the Rhapsody MP3 store will be priced at $0.99, while full albums will be priced at $9.99.

To kick things off, they ran a promotion where the first 100,000 to sign up received any free $10 album that they pleased.

There has yet to be any confirmation as to whether or not they have 100,000 people signed up yet.
