A ruling last week in the $1 billion copyright lawsuit against YouTube forced the video sharing site to hand over IP addresses, user names, video history, and more from users to Viacom.

This put the privacy of YouTube users into doubt, making many unhappy to say the least. Users have reacted by posting videos in response to the ruling.

The worst appears yet to come as there is no telling on where the lawsuit is going to go from here. Viacom wanted the data to help prove their copyright infringement lawsuit.
