The new accessory is the size of a memory card and plugs into the tail of your Wii Remote.

The idea behind it is to basically upgrade the Wii Remote, allowing it to improve motion control.

The belief is that if Nintendo can get the gamers to adopt the new accessory, it could greatly improve experiences such as sword fighting in Zelda, shooting games, etc.

There has yet to be any word on a price though, as well as a release date.
