Apple has stated that they have fixed the alphabetical listing for the App Store, changing how applications show up on your iPhone and iPod Touch.Washington (ChattahBox) – Apple has stated that they have fixed the alphabetical listing for the App Store, changing how applications show up on your iPhone and iPod Touch.

Sources state that developers began placing certain characters at the start of their applications to get their apps to the top of the alphabetical list in categories.

This caused aggravation for developers playing by the rules, and forced Apple to come out and fix the problem.

It appears that now all of the applications are where they should be, even the apps with extra characters.

This comes after Apple announce Monday that more than 10 million applications were downloaded from the App Store since launch.
