This deal is aimed to fight off the PS3 and its built-in Blu-ray player.

The deal between Microsoft and Netflix will have the companies uniting, as Netflix and Microsoft will not be charging anything extra for the service.

Instead, Xbox 360 Xbox Live users with a Netflix subscriptioin already will be good to go once it launches this Fall.

Netflix is expected to give the Xbox 360 a nice boost in terms of its popularity among home entertainments fans, but will it be enough to fight off the PS3 and its built-in Blu-ray drive?

Only time will tell, but gamers can now decide between streaming movies, or Blu-ray movies when they choose between Xbox 360 and PS3.
