San Francisco Network Admin Enters Not Guilty Plea

Terry Childs, a 43-year old San Francisco city computer network administrator, entered a plea of not guilty to four counts of felony computer tampering yesterday.....San Francisco (ChattahBox) – Terry Childs, a 43-year old San Francisco city computer network administrator, entered a plea of not guilty to four counts of felony computer tampering yesterday.

Childs was arrested on Sunday, after he allegedly took control over the city’s network, and changed the access codes of other administrators.

Childs used his power to block others from getting to access records, including payroll files, law enforcement documents, jail inmate bookings, etc.

His not guilty plea came in San Francisco Superior Court on Thursday.

He remains in custody though and will have a bail hearing on July 23.

His bail is currently set at $5 million.
