Music Service iLike Hits Milestone, Adds Full Song Playback

The music service iLike has reached another milestone with 30 million registered users, and has celebrated by adding full-song playback through Rhapsody...Boston (ChattahBox) – The music service iLike has reached another milestone with 30 million registered users, and has celebrated by adding full-song playback through Rhapsody.

The iLike music discovery network allows people to explore music, bringing those together to find artists, and genres that they like.

Ali Partovi, CEO of iLike stated “Historically, iLike has focused on serving fans, artists and labels. Today, we’re pleased to expand the iLike community by empowering two new groups: concert promoters and third-party [application/Web site] developers.”

The music service also announced that they are adding an ad platform for concert developers, as well as support for third party developers.

In regards to the full-song playback feature, users will be able to listen to a full song for free through Rhapsody.

Users will be limited to 25 songs per month, and will have to sign up for Rhapsody if they want to exceed that number.
