The new law put in place is going to look at a lot of things, and will change the way console makers approach ratings.

The new law creates a requirement needed to be followed by console makers, forcing them to have parental controls in their consoles by 2010.

The new law also creates an advisory board, which will look at how violent video games impact kids.

On top of that, ratings will noe be forced to be placed in a visible manner on the boxes of games.

This new law is expected to be challenged in court on the grounds of free speech.
