Los Angeles (ChattahBox) - Robert Alan Soloway, also known as the Spam King, has received a sentence of nearly 4 years in prison.
Soloway, the Spam King, is going to prison after being arrested last summer for mail fraud, e-mail fraud, and tax evasion.
According to prosecutors, Soloway managed to make thousands of dollars with his e-mail services, sending out millions of junk e-mails by using computer networks to broadcast them out.
His sentenced was delivered on Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Marsha Pechman to 3 years and 11 months in prison.
A hearing will also take place to talk about how much restitution he must pay.
