Microsoft has signed a deal with Facebook to power search through their Live Search engine, as well as to bring ads to the social networking site...Washington (ChattahBox) – Microsoft has signed a deal with Facebook to power search through their Live Search engine, as well as to bring ads to the social networking site.

Microsoft Senior Vice President Satya Nadella made the announcement at Microsoft’s annual financial analysts meeting, with the plan in place to try and bolster Microsoft’s Internet search business.

This is part of a growing and evolving relationship between the two companies, as Microsoft owns a small share of Facebook.

The deal will have Facebook bringing its Live Search to all Facebook users, as well as search ads within the site.
