Just when you though San Francisco had regained full control over their own computer network, all goes haywire yet again.

The San Francisco district attorney’s office has released all 150 user names and passwords of city officials to the public as a record.

These network passwords are Exhibit A in the case against 43-year old network administrator Terry Childs.

Childs was arrested on July 13 on felony charges of tampering with the computer network of the city.

These passwords were released as public record, despite the fact that many see them as a major threat to the security of the network.
