The new search engine Cuil was developed by former Google engineers, and received quite a bit of hype going into its big launch day on Monday.

Not all went well for Cuil though, pronounced “cool,” as the search engine crashed within hours of launching.

This has Cuil, which uses content analysis when running a search query, looking for a fresh start yet again.

The first Cuil index has 120 billion web pages, and is hoping that in the long run will continue to draw users.
