Nintendo Sues 5 Firms In Japan, Fights DS Piracy

Nintendo is making a great push to put a stop to Nintendo DS piracy, as they have filed lawsuits against 5 Japanese firms.....Washington (ChattahBox) – Nintendo is making a great push to put a stop to Nintendo DS piracy, as they have filed lawsuits against 5 Japanese firms.

The idea behind the lawsuits are to stop the firms from selling equipment allowing DS owners to play pirated Nintendo DS games.

According to Reuters, they are being sued for “importing and selling equipment that enables illegal game programs to be played on Nintendo’s popular DS portable video game player.”

Nintendo filed the lawsuit along with the support of 54 other Japanese developers, as the push is on to try and beat the DS piracy scene.
