Brand New Mobile Phones Release For The LiMo Platform

Washington (ChattahBox) - The LiMo software platform has received another push with seven new mobile phones released by Motorola, NEC, and Panasonic.
LiMo stands for Linux for Mobile, and continues to grow in popularity with 52 partners.
Just recently 11, new partners signed up for the LiMo Foundation, including Telecom Italia, SK Innoace, MIZI Research, and others.
There are currently 21 mobile handsets available and running on the LiMo platform, with more to come.
These new mobile handsets are set for launch Europe and Japan, and feature things such as high-resolution displays, mobile TV, video streaming, GPS, etc.
This comes as many expect the LiMo 2.0 version is expected before the end of the year.
