NASA has announced that they are forced to delay the launch of their space shuttle replacement, the Orion spacecraft until at least 2014....Washington (ChattahBox) – NASA has announced that they are forced to delay the launch of their space shuttle replacement, the Orion spacecraft until at least 2014.

NASA stated that they will not make their original 2013 date to have a test launch, and will instead have that take place in 2014.

NASA was hoping to limit the time between the final shuttle flight, and the first Orion flight.

The last space shuttle flight is set to take place in 2010.

NASA is hopeful to complete construction of the International Space Station by that time to focus resources on the Orion program.

The hope is that with the extra time, by 2014, they will be off the ground.
