Microsoft released a whopping 11 updates in their Tuesday patch release for August, with 6 of them being critical....Washington (ChattahBox) – Microsoft released a whopping 11 updates in their Tuesday patch release for August, with 6 of them being critical.

The 6 critical updates are aimed to fix many vulnerabilities, which could actually give hackers the ability to run malicious content on your computer.

The critical updates will impact several versions of Windows systems, including Vista, XP, etc.

The major vulnerabilities have to do with the ActiveX control, Windows Image Color Management, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Internet Explorer is also included as part of the programs being patched.

These updates also include patches for client side vulnerabilities as well.
