Fire Eagle will work as a location-based service, doing a variety of things. You can use it as a geo-tagging service, updating it whenever you please.

You can also set it up on your mobile phone, so that Fire Eagle will track where you are alt all times.

This can then eventually work in something such as Facebook, so friends know where you are.

There are already 50 applications that have integrated Fire Eagle into their services, and this number is expected to grow.

For those who want privacy, you can also hide your location, and only permit certain people to see it.
