With their bid set to expire though, it appears that EA will not extend anything again.

Since the initial bid was given, EA has provided extensions since the original bid was made.

Their most recent bid is now set to expire, and according to Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitello, the bid will not be extended.

Riccitello wrote to the Executive Chairman of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, stating that EA will allow their bid to expire.

EA and Take-Two are reportedly going to re-evaulate things from this point forward, as a deal is rumored to still be possible after the holidays.
