Intel has revealed a lot of new details about these processors this week, which will act as their foundation starting in 2009.

The company believes that these chips will be able to improve processing ability, and cut the amount of energy used.

They will be able to work in servers, desktops, as well as laptops, and should be ideal for low-end and high-end users.

The more high-end Core i7 processors will have eight processing cores on one single chip, allowing for an incredible boost in memory bandwith, 3D graphics, and more.

The first Core i7 chips will be launched before the end of the year.
