NASA Destroys ATK Rocket Following Failed Launch

NASA came out this past Friday and stated that, following a failed launch attempt, they have destroyed a suborbital rocket, or an ATK rocket....Boston (ChattahBox) – NASA came out this past Friday and stated that, following a failed launch attempt, they have destroyed a suborbital rocket, or an ATK rocket.

The launch attempt took place on Friday at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, but failed immediately.

The decision to destroy the rocket came after it was unable to follow its designated path, according to reports.

Following the destruction of the actual rocket, NASA stated that there were no injuries, or any reports of property damage.

The rocket was created by Alliant Techsystems (ATK) and was carrying $19 work of experiments.

These experiments consisted of two NASA hypersonic experiment.

ATK is investigating the issues with the rocket.
