The Scrabble-clone Scrabulous has been removed from Facebook around the world, in every single country except India.......Washington (ChattahBox) – The Scrabble-clone Scrabulous has been removed from Facebook around the world, in every single country except India.

A few weeks ago, Scrabulous was removed from the U.S. and Canada after a lawsuit from Hasbro, which owns the rights to Scrabble in North America.

Following a legal complaint from Mattel, which owns the international rights to the game, Facebook removed Scrabulous around the world.

Scrabulous was developed by two brothers from India, Rajat and Jayant Agarwalla. They have since developed a new word game, Wordscraper.

Scrabulous for now only remains on Facebook is in India, where Mattel filed their lawsuit.
