Apple and China Mobile are reportedly very close to a deal to bring the iPhone 3G officially to China...Washington (ChattahBox) - Apple and China Mobile are reportedly very close to a deal to bring the iPhone 3G officially to China.

China Mobile and Apple have been in talks about releasing the phone in the country ever since its initial launch over a year ago.

A report out of the state-controlled 21st Century Business Herald though makes it seem like things are nearly finalized.

The report stated that the talks between Apple and China Mobile are in their “final stages.”

China Mobile has over 400 million subscribers, and could give a huge boost to iPhone 3G sales.
