With the rumored price drops for the Xbox 360 starting to become reality, the Xbox 360 may soon be cheaper than the Nintendo Wii in the U.S.....Boston (ChattahBox) - With the rumored price drops for the Xbox 360 starting to become reality, the Xbox 360 may soon be cheaper than the Nintendo Wii in the U.S.

Microsoft has been rumored to drop the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade version to $199, $50 cheaper than the Nintendo Wii.

The price of the 60GB model will likely be reduced to $299, while the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite would be listed at $399.

This would make Xbox 360 the cheapest out of the 3 next-gen consoles.

This comes following price drops in both Japan and Australia.
