Microsoft is set to release a new version of their Windows Live online services to offer social networking features.<br /> .....Boston (ChattahBox) – Microsoft is set to release a new version of their Windows Live online services to offer social networking features.

The new Windows Live online services will integrate a variety of things under one roof such as e-mail, instant messaging, photo sharing, web applications, and much more.

The ide ais to compete with MySpace and Facebook as a true social-networking tool and an Internet hub.

It will have tools for photo sharing, personal profiles, etc.  It will also work with the Yahoo Flickr service for photos and such.

It is expected to be rolled out in the U.S. in a few weeks time.
