Functional Motorcycle Helmet Masks Works of Art
April 7, 2009
(ChattahBox) — A New Jersey-based Craigslist entrepreneur is selling these handmade motorcycle helmets that were created by a Brazilian artist who affixed bones, teeth and “fine stones” found in the Amazon to a standard open-faced motorcycle helmet. Despite their appearance, the artist claims that the helmets are DOT approved—although I certainly would expect to get pulled over by the police anyway.  But with a $99 price tag for having a helmet that Hell Rider would be envious of, I am sure these will sell out quickly.
