AT&T Announces One-Day Unlimited Plans

May 9, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – Good news for those who hate the usual pay-as-you-go plans. AT&T has announced that they will be releasing their One-Day-For-$3 plan on Monday.

The new plan will allow anyone to pay $3 online to receive unlimited local, national, and internation long distance calls for 24 hours. When the day runs out, so does the phone, and you just move on with no contract, and no unused minutes.

In an interview with the New York Times, AT&T spokesman Mark Seigel said, “It’s for people who want to use the phone for a day without counting minutes.”

While obviously not a great option for anyone who plans on using the phone for more then the occasional day out, it’s a great option for anyone who just needs to keep in contact during a special event, emergency, or just needs to call out of state (or country) for one day.

The plan will be open for orders on Monday.
