Android 1.5 Cupcake Available for T-Mobile USA

(ChattahBox)—Finally, the release for Android’s 1.5 Cupcake operating system is available for download to T-Mobile G1 users.
The T-Mobile cell phone users can perform the update manually if they just must have it and can’t wait a few days for the automatic updates to become available.
According to the Android worshipers over at AndroidGuys, T-Mobile users can download the file and install it manually, without the need for root access. However, users are cautioned to be careful to follow the manual update steps, exactly!
Android 1.5 Cupcake update offers some cool new features and fine-tuning of previous bugs.
The media updates, include raw audio recording and playback APIs, an interactive MIDI playback engine,video and photo sharing intents with video recording, playback and sharing.
Additional updates include, support for using speech recognition libraries, redesigned sensor anager APIs, an enhanced browser, hands-free calls, listening with Stereo Bluetooth and improvements to the on-screen keyboard.
