Google’s Search Evolution Revolution to be Announced Today
September 8, 2010
(ChattahBox Technology News)—Are you as excited, as well, a few people anyways, about Google’s big super secret, tantalizing search engine news to be announced today? Well, you should be. After all, Google teased and seduced us with its moving dots and doodle balls. Regardless of your level of enthusiasm, all will be revealed at the search engine giant’s “Search On” event today in San Francisco.
After the appearance of its marching ants logo yesterday, Google further upped the suspense, with a cryptic tweet, alluding to the hidden agenda behind its “boisterous doodle.” Since that tweet, speculation in the tech community has run rampant. What could it possibly all mean?
CNET theorizes a new and improved “streaming” search results page may be in the works.
“It’s not exactly clear what Google plans to announce, but you can bet from that roster of names that something involving the look and feel of the search results page will be discussed. A recent Google test involving “streaming” search results based off Google Suggest seems like a possibility, as well as speculation from Search Engine Roundtable that Google could be ready to launch a search results page based on AJAX, the Web development technology that allows the content of a page to be refreshed without the user having to click that refresh button.”
That’s pretty cool, right?
