NASA Sets Dates Final Space Shuttle Missions

NASA has announced the final dates for the remaining space shuttle missions through 2009 and 2010.......Washington (ChattahBox) – NASA has announced the final dates for the remaining space shuttle missions through 2009 and 2010.

There are not too many space shuttles left, as there is one mission planned to the Hubble space telescope, and seven assembly missions to the International Space Station.

NASA also has two space station contingency flights planned before it is all said and done.

They stated that the first mission in 2009 is planned for February 12, when the Discovery has a 14-day missioin planned.

The missions for 2010 are set to take place on February 11, April 8, and May 31, 2010.
