A new poll has revealed that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has a very respectable lead over his Republican rival John McCain.Boston (ChattahBox) – A new poll has revealed that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has a very respectable lead over his Republican rival John McCain.

The latest poll has been released by NBC News / Wall Street Journal, and features Obama with a lead that some are calling very comfortable.

In regards to the poll, Obama has a 6-point lead over McCain in the presidential race.

The poll shows that Obama leads McCain by 47% to 41% heading into the November election.

One notion of concern for the Obama camp though is that 55% also feel though that the 46-year old Obama would be the riskier choice for president.

A concern for the McCain camp is that only 13% of the American people feel the country is currently going in the right direction under a Republican (President Bush).
