New Orleans is still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, but will now have to get ready to take a hit once more.

Hurricane Gustav is a Category 3 storm at this point, with sustained winds up around 125 mph.

It slammed into Cuba on Sunday, killing at least 81 people as it stormed through Haiti, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic.

The mayor of New Orleans ordered the evacuation of the city on Saturday, calling Gustav the ‘mother of all storms.”

According to forecasters, the surge may be more than 20 feet, double the height of the levees on the West Bank.

At one point, the storm was a Category 4, but was downgraded by forecasters.

It is expected to move across the Gulf of Mexico Sunday, and then make landfall in the northern Gulf coast on Monday.
