This will not happen though as Hurricane Hanna makes its way towards the Kennedy Space Center in central Florida.
NASA has delayed the move until at least Wednesday so that they can monitor the storm, and its strength.
Atlantis is scheduled to launch this coming October 8th.
It will be taking part in an 11-day mission for the final repair mission to the Hubble Space Telescope.
