Who Has Better Health Care Plan? McCain Or Obama?
October 2, 2008
Washington (ChattahBox) - The battle over health care reform is a major topic in the campaigns of presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain, but who has the better plan?
According to a new report from The Commonwealth Fund, it appears that Obama has the plan needed to help uninsured Americans.
This latest report provided an anlysis of the health care plans proposed by both candidates.
What the report found was that over the next decade, the Obama plan would provide health insurance to 34 of the 67 million uninsured Americans projected, compared to only 2 million out of the 67 million under the McCain plan.
The plan proposed by Barack Obama focuses on forcing companies with 20 employees or more to offer health insurance.
Those who do not want to offer it will have to contribute to a fund to spread health insurance.
