GOP Consultant Dies In Sabotaged Plane?

December 23, 2008

US (ChattahBox) – A man who had been the target of a lawsuit for ‘vote-flipping’ in the 2004 Presidential Election died in a place crash Friday, after being warning that his plane may have been sabotaged. GOP Consultant Michael Connell was killed when his plane crashed into a house in suburban Ohio, and it is believe that his death was possibly planned.

According to a report by Blake Ranault of Action 19 News, “Connell…was apparently told by a close friend not to fly his plane because his plane might be sabotaged, and twice in the last two months Connell, who is an experienced pilot, canceled two flights because of suspicious problems with his plane.”

Apparently the threats on Cornell’s life have been well known for quite some time, after warnings were sent to both Cornell himself, as well as Congressmen John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI) and Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), who had been unexpected allies after a lawsuit alleging Connell had been involved in trying to rig votes in favor of Bush.

The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are now investigating the incident.

I dunno – if you’re going to go through all the trouble, why not rig it so he’d go down over the Alleghenys? I mean – Ohio is lots of broad flat country, heck, he might’ve been able to put it down intact.

So did the “assassin(s)” foul up? Or is this article just titillation? Either way – why let NTSB complete an investigation?
