Drew Peterson’s Fiancee Moves Out

January 31, 2009

US (ChattahBox) — Drew Peterson is back on the market again but this time without a missing or deceased spouse. Christina Raine’s, the latest girlfriend of Drew Peterson, has moved out, only a few weeks after moving in. Christina Raines, her father, a CBS cameraman and police officers were on hand Friday as her belongings were stuffed in garbage bags, boxes and bins.

“He was starting to control her and make her completely dependent on him,” said Raines’ father, Ernie. “My daughter is safe now, and I’m going to keep my eyes on her.”  Well he should!

Drew Peterson, who is the suspect in the death of his wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004, and in the current disappearance of his most recent wife, Stacy Peterson, has always had a liking for younger women. The 55-year-old man has been married four times, each to women significantly younger then himself.

Peterson hasn’t been charged in either case.

Christina Raines left Peterson’s house Friday escorted by several police cars. Peterson, blames her father and the press.

“This is what the media always does to me,” “Drew Peterson Exposed” author Derek Armstrong quoted Peterson as saying. “As soon as the story got out on Chrissy, I knew it would be a problem for us.”

Peterson admitted that his appearance on ABC’s Nightline Thursday didn’t help the situation.

In the segment, Peterson told the reporter, “He treated Raines “better than she’s ever been treated. “But I’d be wary of me too” when asked about Christina Raines’ family and said that “when the romance is gone” in his relationships, he tends to have flings and move on.

The comments sparked a fight between the couple, Armstrong said. Christina Raines returned the engagement ring and a cell phone.

Hours later, Raines, her father, Ernest, and a TV crew came to the home to retrieve her belongings. Peterson refused to allow the father on his property or the cameras in the home.
