NPR Correspondent Admits To Child Porn Possession

March 9, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – David Malakoff, a former correspondent for NPR radio, has signed a document of admission for knowingly downloaded and possessing child pornography.

Malakoff, who was the science editor and a frequent feature on NPR until last June, filed documentation with his lawyer, which admitted that he had knowingly downloaded over 150 images of prepubescent children engaged with oral sex, vaginal sex, and masturbation.

The images were found after Malakoff turned his laptop over to an IT worker within his company, stating that he believed there may have been a virus effecting his computer. The tech found the images, which were obviously named, and contacted NPR’s director to report the incident.

Malakoff has been formerly charged by the Justice Department for child pornography possession.
