‘Zodiac Daughter’ Claims To Have Victim’s Glasses as Proof

May 1, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – There have been hundreds of serial killer in American history, some notorious, some largely unknown by the general public. One set of murders that still haunts the country is that of the Zodiac killer, a string of unsolved shootings that killed a number of young lovers out for a night drive. But one woman says she was close to the killer.

Deborah Perez is not the first person to come forward by a long shot, and even her claims that the Zodiac killer was her father are nothing new. The problem is that quite a few of the other people’s claims have been quite believable, and yet debunked.

Perez claims that her father took her along with him on kills when she was 7-years-old, just a lovely little daddy/daughter date that included shooting young couples making out in their cars. She also says that she wrote the famous note that was sent to Melvin Belli.

“I am not looking for 15 minutes of fame. This is not about that. This is about getting the truth out and telling the truth for these families,” Perez said in a recent statement.

But her ‘business manager’, former lawyer Kevin McLean, who was disbarred for allegedly stealing from his clients, is not so coy about his reasons for helping her come forward.

“It’s part of history that we are solving the Zodiac murder, and so I can get my bald head on the TV and on the Internet forever. I kind of like that,” he admitted.

According to the pair, Perez has found a pair of glasses that belonged to Paul Stine, a taxi driver that police believed may have been murdered by the Zodiac Killer, in a case that took the serial murderer away from his usual M.O.

So far the glasses have not been turned over to the police, which will be a big step in proving the credibility of the claims.
