Caroline Kennedy’s Kids Ended Her Senate Bid, Says New Report

May 5, 2009

US (ChattahBox) – A new report in Vanity Fair has claimed that it was Caroline Kennedy’s teenage kids, not tax problems, that ended her bid for the Senate.

According to an unnamed family friend, Rose, Tatiana, and John Kennedy all confronted their mother, admitting that they did not like the person she was becoming in the midst of the nomination bid. They said she was being aggressive, angry, and much tougher then they had ever seen her, and it worried them that this was before the actual electoral votes had become even a possibility.

“They told her that, if she was getting this worked up getting the job, they didn’t want to see what she would be like in the trenches of a political campaign,” the source said.

After this family meeting, Caroline called Governor Patterson, and announced that she was dropping out of the race, a move that wasn’t surprising to many who had been watching her so far disastrous attempt at Secretary of State Hilary Clinton’s former Senate seat.

Caroline was originally being pushed to take a strong step into politics by her Uncle, Sen, Ted Kennedy, who is currently battling brain cancer.  Recently there have been suggestions Caroline would be a perfect fit for the soon to be vacated Supreme Court Justice seat.
