let’s see, (vp) biden resigns because he’s…well, biden. pelosi (speaker of he house) resigns because of the waterboardgate kerfuffle, sen. byrd ( pro tempore..just hospitalized) resigns because he’s a thousand years old, that leaves the secretary of state next in line of presidential succession.
