But you appear to be a Libertarian. Not Republican.
The truth about healcare, is that the HMO’s have made health insurance a BIG business. As large or larger and just as powerful as Big Tobacco use to be in the late Eighties.
Should we bailout big Biz like AIG. Well that is a slippery slope. Many arguments for and against. But the real argument should be. Would have this adversaly affected the economey. Or just slightly. That is the question. Only an econmist can answer this.

The right picks the oddest role models. Voight abandoned Angelina Jolie and her brother through most of their childhood and is so estranged from her now, he’s never even met his grandkids. Wasn’t this the party of family values? I guess when Newt Gingrich (adulterer; served wife divorce papers when she was in the hospital recovering from cancer surgery) and Rush Limbaugh (drug addict) and Bill O’Reilly (settled suit over sexual harassment), you sort of have to downplay that whole “moral majority” stuff. Good work, guys!

Ok, former republican, where are the policies to go along with Obama’s rhetoric? Let’s take each of your 4 points one by one:

1) Stop spreading anti-American sentiment throughout the world –

Obama has offered little here except talk. He and the Democrats in Congress are continuing with Bush’s illegal anti-terrorism policies; in fact, they can’t even bring themselves to close Guantanamo, which if you recall, was one of Obama’s major campaign promises.

2) Stop trusting the wealthy to create wealth in this country –

Why then is Obama is spending a TRIILLION dollars to bail out wealthy businessmen while allowing struggling homeowners to be tossed into the streets? His economic policies are EXACTLY the same as Bush’s, minus tax cuts for the wealthy. Actually, Obama went back on a promise to increase taxes on the wealthy, so he’s really no better than Bush even on taxes.

3) Invest in the US –

You’re dreaming if you think Obama and the Democrats will do anything to reverse NAFTA or any other part of the globalist agenda. There are already bills in Congress to increase H1B visas to a MILLION a year.

4) Efficient healthcare –

You’re also dreaming if you think Obama and the Democrats will support single-payer or even a genuine public option. Max Baucus – one of the most conservative Democrats in the Senate – is Obama’s point man on healthcare, and you’ve got to be outright nuts if you think he’s going to allow any legislation that would endanger the monopoly of the healthcare industry.

Getting back to the original topic, it’s obvious that people like Voight and Limbaugh and Palin rant hysterically because they know this tactic makes Democrats nervous and forces them to the right. It’s worked for the last 30 years, and will probably continue to work until the country evolves into a fascist dictatorship.

Why is everyone bashing Obama after only 5 months in office? The Bush admistration had 8 years to make our country safe and secure but that didnt happen… 8 YEARS not 5 months. How can anyone in their right mind expect Obama to fix the world /countrys problems in 5 months i mean come on now are you serious ? you know thats not possible!! We say we want peace with other nations and Obama is trying to accomplish that! either we want peace or we don’t , If Obama goes to another country and shows respect we get all up in the air about it but then if they come to our country we EXPECT them to show respect for the usa. Someone has to make the first move other wise we have a stand off and what does that do for us ? nothing. God never intended for us to fight amoung ourseleves like this we are suppose to join together. IF you spent as must time and effort on helpig find solutions for our country as you do bashing Obama I think we would start seeing a turn around. If the past 8 years have not worked then apparently we need to do something different and if people like Voight and Gingrich and others like them have the solutions to it all then why in the heck are they not president and have all this fixed in the past 5 months? I’m just saying!!!! We can only give Obama 5 months yet we have given Bush 8 years. For the multi-rich that have nothing else to do than bash someone how about find a solutions to this ( we have people literlly living in tents because they have lost there homes and jobs and trust me that did not happen in just 5 months. Sit in your over sized recliner tonight and look at your spouse and children and try to imagine and visualize how you would feel right now if you had to sell everything you owned and throw up a tent for your children to live in with no a/c or heat , elec, water and not a clue as to what your going to do .. think about that because it is happening and just because the majority of the public is not rich does not mean that they don’t love and care for their families just as much as you do. So my point is no matter which side of the fence your on stop all the bashing and complaining and do the jobs that you were hired to do please. Because if the requirements for a political high paying position requires that you act like a 1st grader , name calling and finger pointing then i know a lot of unemployed people that would like an application.

Obama the same as Bush? Are you blind? Retarded? Both? He’s trying to undo most of Bush’s disastrous policies: let’s enumerate them:
1) Stop spreading anti-American sentiment throughout the world; Speak to others with respect; strike terrorist recruiting tools harder with words than with guns
2) Stop trusting the wealthy to create wealth in this country — Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthy were supposed to be temporary fixes for tough times…that means let them expire; taxes were far higher under Reagan than they are now and we’ve got deficits to deal with
3) Invest in the US — not foreign policy that hurts us more than it helps us; that means education, renewable energy, protection of the environment and natural resources
4) Efficient healthcare — the US spends twice the portion of its GDP on healthcare than all other developed nations because our system limits competition; other nations show us that costs are reduced for all when private competes with public

But what do you GOP faithful want to do?
1) Burn through our remaining natural resources as fast as we can. Drill baby drill…even tho it wouldn’t provide 10 years of US consumption and then we’d be right back where we started…minus our most pristine ecosystem
2) Brandish big sticks and war drums; Tell everyone else they are weak and if they don’t join us we just might reduce them to ashes
3) Cut taxes for the rich and pray to Jesus that they will invest in our nation
4) Leave our old and poor to die in ditches; pray to Jesus that they don’t resort to drastic measures causing damages to us all (e.g. spend less on education and cut SS and medicare)
5) Leave our inefficient healthcare system as it is because governments that try to make their people healthy are socialist and therefore Nazis

Keep it up GOP, you won’t get elected with this garbage again.

Please, everyone watch the u-tube video called Obama’s Deception. I watched it and it scared the he– out of me. It will show you how long this deception has been going on and those involved in the World’s demise. Our so-called government is going to take all of our money, possessions, freedoms and whatever else we may have away from us. It will not only involve the United States but the world.
