Holocaust Museum Shooting, One Dead, Shooter Neo-Nazi

June 10, 2009

(ChattahBox)—A shooting occurred at the Holocaust Museum, in Washington, DC this afternoon, with one security guard gunned down, who died from his wounds at George Washington University Hospital. The shooter has been identified as 88-year-old James W. von Brunn, a Neo-Nazi and white supremacist, who was shot and taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Shortly after 1:00 PM this afternoon an elderly man illegally parked his red car in front of the museum, entered the museum carrying a long gun, opening fire, mortally wounding security guard, Stephen Tyrone Johns.

Other security guards then opened fire on Brunn.

James W. von Brunn has long known to the police for his neo-Nazi and white supremacists activities and he has served time in prison.

He ran a hate filled website filled with anti Semitism and Holocaust denial diatribes, where he claims to be a member of Mensa, a former a P.T. boat captain in World War II and to have been victimized by a court system run by Jews and black people.
