Amazing that much the same thing could have been said (by pretty much the same people) for all of the below:

- giving women the vote
- freeing the slaves
- allowing interracial marriage
- the original foundation of our country (“divine right” of the British sovereign, etc)

Just wow.

If Oklahoma decides to secede, can we make sure they take Texas, Alabama and the rest of the “Bible Belt” with them? The we could build a long border fence that would really be useful…

WHEREAS, we who have two or more working braincells are aware that our current economic problems can be laid at the feet of Ronald Reagan’s deregulation of the banking industry; and

WHEREAS Sally Kern is a whacko Republican who attempts to force her lunatic-fringe fundamentalist religious intolerance beliefs on other human beings in clear violation of the Constitution of the United States and basic human rights;

BE IT RESOLVED that all whacko Republicans seeking to shift the blame somewhere else other than their own Party shall be shipped to Oklahoma and horsewhipped in the State Capitol until they scream for mercy and admit that they are the greedy assholes who caused the problem in the first place; and

BE IT RESOLVED that Sally Kern should be deported to Iran, to learn what her type of intolerance does to loud-mouthed stupid people who think they are better than anyone else.
