I’m not surprised. Since Obama’s win, it seems it’s become somewhat chic again to be racist.
A republican congresswoman recently attended a CofCC (a known white supremacist organization) event, and refused to address it when she was challenged on it.
There is a legacy of outright racism in the Republican party, and the voices seem to only be getting louder. I’m disgusted by the attitude. How they feel it’s American to think that way, I’ll never know. How they can possibly think that a divided America can continue to hold status as a superpower in an international arena, I’ll never know.
Pure stupidity. And God knows, Republicans sure play the loyalty and values cards ad nauseum. But it seems to me that perhaps these kinds of values are simply adopted from a time in American history that the rest of us have gladly grown away from.

it dosnt surprise me that the demos are spouting more hate each month. can the retain their position in 2010. they either blame bush when they have no agenda and let biden do some of their talking to have someone to blame.

Isn’t this similar to what the dinosaurs went through right before they became history – a lot of noise and pointless thrashing around and then “gone but not forgotten?” The GOP-as-we-know-it is in a death spiral and folks like Audra Shay are just moving things along quicker so the rest of us don’t have to watch the embarrassing “death throes” for too long.
It’s an annoying but necessary stage of evolution. We just took a giant leap forward, there’s bound to be some ugly fallout from the less-evolved who see they’re heading toward extinction. God bless ‘em but they’re stupid and they can’t keep up.

The Young Republicans should be PROUD. They have the guts to elect a RACIST, in the recent tradition of their party — despite the CLEAR trend against racism and single color rule in American society. Now, if they can only rid themselves of any statement of PRINCIPLE, FAIRNESS or HONESTY — then they can take their place alongside the other right-wing autocratic ideologies in the $HITCAN OF HISTORY !

karen Sautter should not be donated to. She frequently participates in character attacks that are unfounded and without justice on good Republicans, some even her peers. She will stop at nothing to discredit her own fellow republicans and has no shame. When she does not get her way, she yells, screams, cries, and even threatens organizations. The evidence is on her twitter. She can’t deny it! Karen Sautter you should be ashamed of yourself for the way you conducted yourself with the Young Republicans, just because you didn’t get elected. You have made your self irrelevant. If you would have been a gracious loser instead of a bitchy one, people would have welcomed you back into the fold as we did with other losing candidates. OH and by the way, maybe you should color those roots, because FAKE redheads are not real redheads, and you are giving good redheads like GingerGOP a bad wrap. She is a wonderful girl, and how you treated her this weekend was bologna! She is twice the woman with grace, dignity, and honor than you will ever be. And we all know the character assassination you tried to pull on her too. Well guess what you silly bitch, it didn’t work.
On a second note, if you think it takes 4k to build a website, you are full of it, and skimming off the top. Real transparent and honorable. If you want people to donate, post your budget so we can see what we are really donating to, not your personal pocket book.
Oh and your assassination on Elizabeth Miller today too… PATHETIC. You look like a child. Grow up Karen Sautter, grow up, and maybe just maybe the YRNF won’t sue the pants off you for all of your malicious intent that you are putting out on the internet. Personally I hope they do, and then all of this pretty donation money will go to an organization that will actually be able to revolt agains democrats and RINOs like you who only want a title and attention.
And by the way, where did you find that fiance of yours. He is a real piece of work and a hottie . I thought you could do much better, but seeing your childish ways this weekend, I now know the reason you could only land the guy you landed. No one else wants you.
It’s concerning to me that people who are elected officials, who should know better, decided to continue to support Audra, even after she made these racist statements. People that not only supported her but continued to run on Audra Shay’s Ticket such as:
Audra Shay’s Treasurer Candidate – Kelly Arnold, County Clerk – Sedgwick County, Kansas
Audra Shay’s Auditor Candidate – Dennis Cook, President, Consolidated District 230 Board of Education – Illinois (who is thinking of running for Statewide Office in Illinois)
I think it is unacceptable to have these elected officials continue to get elected after their support of such behavior from Mrs. Shay. They should resign along with Mrs. Shay.
I’m really not sure where Karen Sautter comes into all of this. This is an article dealing with Audra Shay, her election, and the perception that her election will have on the YRNF. The fact of the matter is that Audra Shay handled the entire situation about as poorly as one could. This reflects poorly on her personal judgement and lack of leadership. The article is an example of what we can expect to hear from the media and the internet for Audra’s term. She did this to herself and has no one else to blame. Attacks on third parties, such as Karen, didn’t squelch the issue before and they won’t now. The only thing that will is owning up to your mistakes, and making serious attempts to set things right. So far, I have seen no signs from Audra that she intends to, though, as a loyal YR, I will be there with open arms once she does.
As for Karen, I have never found her less than a true and loyal conservative. She has donated a great deal of time and effort, at no cost, to causes that I hold dear, and I will gladly side with her any day. I find it funny that you accuse Karen of character assassination when that is what you are engaging in. Get a life.
P.S. Karen’s hair is fantastic, as is her fiancee! We should all be so lucky.
