There’s so many conspiracies about Bowe flying around mainstream media right now and it’s disgusting! http://www.newsy.com/videos/captive_u_s_soldier_a_hero_or_a_deserter How can they claim Bowe is a deserter? It isn’t fair to taint his reputation before the truth comes out. Currently, he is an American hero and no one should take that away from him or his family.

Whether Bergdahl deserted, or was kidnapped is irrelevant. As a retired US Army non-commissioned officer, I will state for the record that we don’t leave our people in the hands of the enemy. For Peters to suggest otherwise tells me he’s unqualified to lead American troops, and should be stripped of his commission and discharged for unsuitability. That wil save a lot of American lives, and probably save money and legal hassle in the event he is ever sent to lead troops in a combat zone, because charges of dereliction of duty and gross incompetence are sure to follow.

It’s up to the military commanders to determine if an investigation into Bergdahl’s alleged desertion is warranted. It is NOT up to some desk-jockey lily-livered jackass wannabe TV star to declare him a deserter, without benefit of either an investigation nor a trial.

Peters should be removed from the US military with all due haste.
