Dear Staff,
My name is Raymond Carnation I along with two other white Philadelphia Police Officers that opposed racism
against African Americans were fired in 1999 for doing so.
In May of 2008 our law suite set precedent in federal court, Myrna Moore vs. The City of Philadelphia.
Below are articles on our story and we want to ask President Obama to place police racism on our national agenda. In order for this to happen we need as much support

I grew up in a country (south africa) where everything from public toilets, to park benches, post office entrances, even churches where whites only. It is a sad thing that a progressive country like the USA , leader of the Western world, can still have this kind of blatant discrimination. It is even more sad when a great city like Phillidelphia – city of brotherly love can also exercise it. I am convinced that it is a universal problem suffered by all of humanity and I have depicted it as such in a recent book I wrote “too much baggage for the promised land” which is obtainable from eloquent books or on any of the Amazon sites. It includes my experience of “whites only “over 40yrs of Apartheid rule in my country.
