During the WW2, our military had high-ranking Nazi’s who needed to be interrogated. Know how they did it? Played cards with them and won their trust. And these were committed, evil bastards who sent children to gas chambers without any remorse.
You can’t believe anything a person tells you under torture….and testimony from the highest channels in our military have told us that no useful information was gained. Unless you believe Dick Chaney. And he would lie about anything.
With Tom Ridge, the chickens are coming home to roost.

Fantastic! Go fight these guys and then come back and say how horrible all of this was. What they did was exactly what was needed given the situation. Imminent fear is a good way to break these degenerates and I applaud the efforts of the CIA in gathering information that helped save my fellow soldiers (and the US) from harm. The rest of you? Go suck an egg. It is because of us that you are free to be such idiots.

This is a joke-right? This is the shameful, evil, inhumane “torture” for which our interrogators are being condemned? It appears that the poor prisoners were subjected to the FEAR that something was going to be done to them. Maybe they were really ANNOYED by noise or were deprived of sleep. No one was beaten, burned, or confined in a little cage. Even water-boarding , admittedly unpleasant, is little more than another scare tactic. Perhaps John McCain could help people understand the meaning of torture.
If just ONE American life was saved through information gained by this “torture”, the interrogators deserve a medal!
