i personally think that someone who has already been charged for rape before and gets out of jail and does the same thing should not even have to go to trial or anything i think that they should go straight to prison i mean there shouldnt even be a trial we already no that he did all the things he is going to trial for i mean be serious is it really necessary for him to go to trial i think we all no he did it why put her through that much stress really why put her through a nightmare all over again

i think that he should have never gotten out in the first place i feel as though if he was locked up from the begining this could have all been provented also with the lack of searching when police first heard of children living in the backyard i think they should have searched harder and maybe they would have found her earlier in her time of capitivity i also believe that he should have never gotten out of jail after his first rape. it is really sad that a grown man can take a child an do such harmful things to someone i mean come on now a grown man and a thirteen year old child that is just ridiculous i mean its just hard for me to understand how a grown man can be so cruel i mean serious a little girl are you forreal i mean come on jaycee degard was only a little girl

How do you knock on a sex offenders door, and Not investigate / search that house inside out. If a parole officer can find a small bag of dope hidden in a crack of ceiling, then they are certainly capable of finding 3 little girls in a back yard. I’m furious. Apologies not accepted for not finding these kids. Had it been one of their own missing, that knock on the door wouldn’t have stopped there. Someone certainly was NOT doing their job serving and protecting. No interest as a concerned citizen either… Persons possessing such authority that make such unexcuseable “oversights” should be reassigned to a position that entails purchasing paperclips and other office supplies. I’m happy those girls are finally safe, thanks to the officers at Berkeley, who obviously take their job seriously.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Jaycee, her two girls, her parents and extended family. I can not imagine such a terrible situation…it is truly a tragedy. My hope is that Jaycee and her girls will get all the help they need and more, that healing will come and that the justice system will not let her down again. My prayers also go out to all of the other victims of this monster. May God heal and save Jaycee and her family.

What I just read is that OPRAH wants an interview with JAYCEE!! How selfish is this???? Any comments anyone?? Do u think its true? If it is, i dont think i will be watching OPRAH anymore, and watch how her ratings go down to even suggest Jaycee do an interview….
