“team up to defend torture” is not a true statement at all. The Obama administration clearly stated they would not push this topic. Guess what, they lied and are now bringing up the issue. This article is focusing on the wrong direction, perhaps you should consider the lies and propaganda put forth by the Obama administration instead of writing inaccurate information.

I see the GOP astroturfers are working this weekend. Lucas Duffey (or whatever your real name is), the Cheney-Bush Administration spent 8 years violating both US and International law. As a former Intelligence officer myself, I am fully aware that torture DOES NOT WORK to produce useful intelligence from humint sources; the victim will say whatever (lies) he thinks you want to hear, just to make the torture stop, or he’ll clam up and tell you nothing at all. Standard, time-tested, “humane” techniques, however, are pretty reliable.

And the Obama Administration isn’t torturing anyone (although the racist bigots of the GOP are torturing themselves for having alienated such a huge majority of Americans before the 2008 elections).

I’m not so sure about what to think of this…torture is not my think, but sometimes it’s required to get the answers from the Enemy.
